Gucci announced Tuesday morning that Charlotte Casiraghi will be the face of its new cosmetics collection. Yes, okay, the Monaco royal is beautiful. But more importantly: Gucci is debuting its first makeup range in September.

Squee x 10, people. According to a release from the brand, the line includes products for eye, face, lip and nails, along with "luxurious brushes and preparation products for skin." Given Gucci's beauty track record on the runway, which tends toward a super-sexy statement eye, we're guessing (hoping) the line will include some beautiful, color-rich eyeshadows and silky skin perfecters.

WWD reports that Procter & Gamble, which Gucci has worked with on its fragrances since 2006, is producing the line, which also makes sense given that Gucci's makeup artist of choice, Pat McGrath, is P&G's Global Creative Design Director. We've reached out to Gucci for more details and will update when we hear back. For now, we'll be busy dreaming up theories on what we'll be seeing come September.
