We love seeing what people choose to wear at Cannes, because while it's certainly glamorous, it has a slightly easier, more effortless vibe than hoity toity events like the Oscars or the Met Ball. The sunny seaside setting just calls for a less labored approach to getting dressed.

No one is better at encapsulating that vibe than Sofia Coppola, so how fitting that she is a member of this year's Cannes Grand Jury, meaning she gets more red carpet moments than almost anyone else.

So far, she's been keeping it simple, wearing mostly black and white. But on Monday, at the premiere of "Foxcatcher," she broke out of her comfort zone just a bit in this indigo Michael Kors dress with silver studs from his spring 2014 collection.

She looks elegant, but comfortable and real. It's a look many of us regular people could conceivably pull off in real life, which is a quality we don't see a lot of on the red carpet.
