So many kittehs!

So many kittehs!

Right now, something truly magical is happening at Elle.com -- and it's not just the breaking revelation that Kelly Rowland is currently with child (btw, girl, CONGRATS).

So, are you sitting down? At a computer? Here it goes: The website has been taken over by kittens!  Secret kittens! Super secretive, adorable kittens that only appear once you've typed in a quick little code on your keyboard.

The code is as follows: ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → b a

(That's up arrow, up arrow, down arrow, down arrow, left arrow, right arrow, left arrow, right arrow, b, a -- for anyone who doesn't share my unwavering affinity for Wingdings.)

To see thousands of kittens flying by in fast succession, just keep hitting the a key. No, but seriously, do it NOW.

What's more, there's a fashion tie-in! The kitties are decked out in accessories straight off the fall runways, including Chanel's padlock necklace, Moschino's Golden Arches sunnies, Louis Vuitton's asymmetrical earring, Céline's furry belt and Acne's cozy blue wrap.

I don't know why this is happening, but I'm not mad about it. I also didn't think anything could top Vogue UK's parade of hat-wearing dinosaurs last July. But I'll be the first to admit: I was so, so wrong.
