We sure learned how to work a parasol.

This weekend, the ninth annual Jazz Age Lawn Party was held at Governor's Island in New York City, where thousands of people outfitted in 1920s inspired glad rags (for the uninitiated, that means fancy, going-out clothes) were ferried over for a day of swing dancing, live music and prohibition style cocktails made with St-Germain. As expected, a few attendees really were the sartorial bee's knees and we were there to document all their glorious vintage style.

Knotted pearl necklaces, intricately feathered and beaded headbands and painted parasols were in abundance.
