The word "jumpsuit" alone can scare even some of the bravest sartorial stars. It's easy to get swallowed up by fabric, buried in an unflattering silhouette or (worst case scenario) look like twinsies with your local gas station attendant while wearing the challenging garment.
Luckily, we have Jennifer Garner to look to for one-piece inspiration. The actress was the picture of pared back perfection while hosting the Fifth Annual Thirst Gala in Beverly Hills Tuesday in a black, sleeveless jumpsuit with a keyhole neckline. She kept her accessories minimal and sporty, choosing black, heeled sandals, small diamond drop earrings and a thin diamond bracelet.
Things got a little fun below the ankles in the form of a teal pedicure, but other than that, the look was head-to-toe all-black classiness. (Maybe this is her way of subtly auditioning for a Cat Woman role in Ben Affleck's new Batman movie?)
What's the moral of this story? Don't fear the jumpsuit. It can be your friend if you take tips from Garner and keep it simple.
