For most fledgling brands, things like e-commerce, brick-and-mortar stores and ad campaigns don't happen for years -- but with good financing, which Trademark has from Chris Burch's company, Burch Creative Capital, we guess it's reasonable for things to progress a little differently.
Even before their clothes were available to purchase, the young Burches announced plans to open a store at 95 Grand Street in New York City, and now WWD reports that store is set to open in August, presumably to coincide with the delivery of fall 2014 merchandise.
But that's just the beginning: The brand has also unveiled its first online ad campaign, which marks the return of yet another model from the '90s, Trish Goff. In her heyday, Goff, now 37, covered several Vogues and starred in campaigns for everyone from Gap to Chanel to Louis Vuitton. She also closed Alexander Wang's fall 2009 show, which seemingly ended her modeling career. Shortly thereafter, she switched gears and got into real estate, joining Douglas Elliman in 2012. (No word on whether she brokered the deal for the store.) Now, thanks to this Trademark campaign, shot by Max Farago, she's probably the most famous model-slash-real estate agent in the biz.
