We've seen the likeness of Karl Lagerfeld in countless forms: a silhouette on a T-shirt, a Tokidoki figurine, a profile on a limited-edition bottle of Diet Coke. Now, thanks to Mattel — the creators of the world-famous Barbie Doll — the next piece of Kaiser-inspired memorabilia to hit the market might be the best one yet.

WWD reports that the toy company will release a doll called Barbie Lagerfeld in the fall. This isn't your normal Fashion Princess™ Barbie — she'll be dressed head-to-toe in a look based on the designer's well-known uniform, which includes a white collared shirt, a fitted black blazer, skinny pants, black sunglasses, Chanel-esque chain necklaces and fingerless driving gloves. (Head on over to WWD for a sketch of the upcoming figurine.)

Barbie has dipped her toe into the world of high fashion before, and for her 50th anniversary, she had her very own runway extravaganza during the fall 2009 shows in New York, with pieces designed by the likes of Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Anna Sui and Diane von Furstenberg.

No word on when exactly the Lagerfeld Barbie will hit shelves, but we can only pray that there is a Baptiste Ken* to go along with it.
