Alexander Wang's decision to show his fall 2014 collection at Brooklyn's Navy Yard over his usual venue in Manhattan last February was, surprisingly (perhaps even to Wang himself), one of the biggest stories of New York Fashion Week. This was before Christian Dior showed its resort 2015 collection at the same venue, and showgoers were concerned (and in some cases, outright vexed) about navigating to Brooklyn at 8 p.m. on a Saturday, one of the biggest show days of the week.

It appears that Wang has had his fun in Brooklyn, because the designer is bringing his show back to his old haunt, Pier 94 in Manhattan, this September. He's returning to his old 5 p.m. (rather than 8 p.m.) time slot on the show calendar, too.

It's almost too bad -- a sunset water taxi ride in early September would have actually been pretty pleasant.
