Anna Wintour is now the subject of her own musical. Officially called Ryan Raftery Is the Most Powerful Woman in Fashion, the show's creator Ryan Raftery rewrites popular songs for the editor in chief, whom he describes as "Darth Vader and Hilary Clinton in one little package." The part where you'll really have to suspend your disbelief? Wintour believes she'll be fired for the infamous Kimye cover. {The Cut}

And speaking of La Wintour, she's apparently worked her magic on the world's most infamous bachelor, George Clooney, who has agreed to let Vogue capture his forthcoming wedding. Despite the fact that Clooney and fiancée Amal Alamuddin will wed mid-Fashion Month, Wintour will attend. “She wouldn’t go there and not cover it,” according to a source clearly familiar with Wintour's byline. {Page Six}

The latest '90s trend to make a comeback is knee socks. First Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were spotted out wearing this very Cher Horowitz-approved look. But when Cara Delevingne wears something, you can be sure it's going to be huge, so better stock up on some pairs now. {Glamour}

Lord & Taylor has stirred up some trouble with the high-end brands it carries by unveiling a new in-shop concept called The Birdcage, which will be used to sell vintage accessories from the likes of Louis Vuitton and Chanel. Surprise! Chanel is not happy. “Chanel is not participating in the Lord & Taylor Birdcage store concept, and does not distribute or authorize the sale of vintage Chanel merchandise through any retail channels,” the brand said in a statement. Yikes.  {WWD, subscription required}
