Think "DKNY," and you'll think, of course, of Donna Karan and New York — and also, probably, of Cara Delevingne, who's appeared in no less than four DKNY campaigns over the past two years. Delevingne's much-copied off-duty style, too, is very much in line with DKNY's urban, athletic aesthetic.

It was only natural, then, that the two decided a year ago to team up on a 15-piece capsule collection, which you can preview below. It's very sporty — you'll find track pants (with "Cara" emblazoned on the waistband), tank tops, bomber jackets and a sports bra, and some athletic — yet "very Cara" — onesies. Prices range from $70 (for the beanies) to $375 (for the leather jacket), and will be available for purchase at DKNY's Madison Avenue store, Bloomingdale's 59th St. store, DKNY.com and Shopbop on October 15.

There's always a question of how involved, exactly, celebrities get in various collaborations — sometimes, a celebrity or influencer might just send off some pieces in her closet to be copied, for example — but it appears Delevingne was creatively quite involved. In fact, she even authored the press release. (Which, because it's adorable and quite useful in its styling advice, we've copied below.) In it, she describes how the collaboration grew out of an idea exchange about a jumpsuit. She also says there are no rules for wearing the collection, or set looks: just simple pieces, starting with a crop top, "to layer every which way."
