Model and "It" girl Suki Waterhouse has already captivated the fashion world, and now she has her sights set on Hollywood. Much like fellow models Cara Delevingne and Abbey Lee Kershaw, who both have major film projects in the works, Waterhouse is making her big screen debut in October, starring in the British comedy-slash-coming-of-age flick "Love, Rosie."
In what we can gather from the trailer, Waterhouse plays a model (how fitting!) named Bethany who's a longtime acquaintance of the protagonist, Rosie, played by Lily Collins. In an unexpected turn of events, Bethany ends up getting engaged to Rosie's best friend Alex, and -- plot twist -- Rosie realizes that she's been in love with him all along.
Waterhouse's style in the film is the first thing that caught our attention: We see her in low-slung, boot cut jeans, bohemian, fringed pieces that recall Sienna Miller in her heyday and pop star-esque bleach blond hair. "It’s set in 2002, so we’re wearing crop tops and flared jeans, so it’s all quite Britney, which was really fun," the actress told Grazia in an interview, adding, "I’d love to do another film. Fingers crossed!"
We don't know about you, but we're probably going to swing by this one on opening weekend.
