Ever since Yahoo announced it was bringing Elle's Joe Zee on board as the new editor-in-chief of its revamped fashion vertical — one of the "digital magazines" the company has been developing — it's been on something of a hiring spree. Bobbi Brown's appointment as editor of Yahoo Beauty followed shortly behind; Brown later took on former Fashionista editor Britt Aboutaleb as her managing editor. Yahoo has now poached Michele Promaulayko, the editor in chief of Women's Health, to head up Yahoo Health, according to a release.

On top of that, Yahoo has also filled out Zee's team with a whole stable of editors from major titles: Sarah Cristobal, previously the editor of V Magazine, is now editor of Yahoo Style; Dora Fung, market and beauty director of CR Fashion Book, is now its market director; Into the Gloss co-founder Nick Axelrod and Andrea Oliveri, celebrity bookings director for Details, have both joined as contributing editors; and Bifen Xu, previously a producer at W, is now special projects director, with a focus on photography.

Not only has Zee assembled a team from respectable publications, but many in the group come from institutions that are slightly less mainstream (V, CR Fashion Book) than Zee's Elle, so we're curious to see how these editors' perspectives come together. Let's just say that the prospect of Yahoo Fashion just got a whole lot more interesting.
