It may have been a #family affair at Sunday night's Givenchy show, but Hedi Slimane's "people" were also out in full force the next evening at Saint Laurent. Lenny Kravitz, Pete Doherty and Miles Kane were just three of the 20 musicians listed on the attendance sheet. (Other celebrity guests included Catherine Deneuve, Salma Hayek Pinault and Daisy Lowe.)

Slimane not only designed the clothes, but also the set. (He was also listed as the show's stylist.) This season, Slimane looked at the work of the late artist Robert Heinecken, who used his photographs in lithography, collage, as well as painting and sculpture. (He called himself a "para" photographer.) The influence could be felt in Slimane's mix of fabrics, colors and prints. A leopard print blouse, for example, was paired with a green leather jacket and sequined mini, while a red floral mini dress went with a satin-pocket camo jacket and studded belt. Slimane diehards will swoon over straight-up looks, but the rest will covet individual pieces, like a daisy-printed mini or black-and-red polka dot scarf.
