'Women's Health' Gets New Editor in Chief

Amy Keller Laird, the executive editor of Women's Health since 2011, has been promoted to the top role at the Rodale-owned glossy following the departure of Michele Promaulayko for Yahoo Health.

Keller Laird has been filling the role of interim EIC since Promaulayko left in August, and her appointment is effective immediately.

Rodale Inc. President Scott Schulman (not to be confused with Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist) says that Keller Laird's "proven ability to connect with a growing audience of readers across all channels make her the ideal candidate." She will oversee content across all platforms, proving that an ability to handle the digital components of a magazine title is becoming an increasingly essential part of the role
