On Monday night in Beverly Hills, Elle magazine held its annual Women in Hollywood celebration, honoring the biggest and brightest female stars, including the eight ladies — Zoe Saldana, Tina Fey, Jessica Lange and Brie Larson among them — who grace the November 2014 cover of the glossy. Elizabeth Banks (who is also featured on one of the Elle covers) received special recognition for her creative contributions to the film industry, and she was presented an award by her "Hunger Games" co-star Jennifer Lawrence.

The event took place around the same time that news broke of designer Oscar de la Renta's passing, and Lawrence just so happened to be wearing a sweet, white lace look from his spring 2015 collection. She accented the look with delicate lace-up heels by Christian Louboutin and a black belt cinching her waist, and we must say — she looked downright angelic. While it wasn't specifically meant to be a tribute to the late designer (as far as we know), it was a perfectly timed moment of appreciation for his timeless, romantic creations.
