The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies that bring our brand to life. They will drive the development and execution of strategies that support the key business needs as it relates to Marketing, Branding and Communications. Essential Job Functions

• Partner with your peers and coworkers in Marketing, Communications, Creative, Merchandising and at Store level to develop a deep understanding of key marketing channels, processes, and goals -- develop cross-channel initiatives to build brand awareness, grow market share and increase sales
• Identify brand, seasonal, initiative-driven or localized opportunities to promote the brand through integrated marketing
• Deliver creative, unified marketing campaigns that extend key brand messaging through all marketing channels to make the brand top of mind and emotionally relevant
• Assist in the maintenance of product launch and promotional calendar and help manage design, e-commerce, and social media resources to meet assure all materials are on brand, on budget and to deadline
• Ensure campaigns are executed in the right brand identity and voice with cohesive messaging. Responsible for ensuring global image, brand standards and creative direction is upheld through all marketing touch points including but not limited to in-store, digital, social, event, wholesale partners
• Facilitate discussion and planning between cross-functional groups, ensuring teams have assets needed to deliver on integrated marketing campaigns
• Prioritize efforts and shape the direction of campaigns by working with colleagues to understand potential impact
• Create project plans, define stakeholders, manage within a marketing budget and timelines
• Write creative briefs by articulating goals, strategies, measures of success, and ideas for execution. Coordinate effective integration, timely execution and comprehensive communication of all marketing activities
• Work with in-house creative services team and/or agency (freelancers) on creative development, production and campaign implementation, tracking and analysis. Proof and review all related marketing materials as submitted by the creative department for production
• Prepare reports that help analyze and track performance and the metrics of successful marketing campaigns
• Manage marketing vendors, agencies, freelancers engaged in department activities including: copywriters, printers, marketing agencies and web developers
• Act as point person and source of organization for Marketing Department & provide administrative support as needed
• Support the Sr. Director of Marketing’s initiatives with development and implementation of Digital Marketing strategies by assisting in the creation of programs that are aligned with overall brand growth objectives, image goals and new product launches
• Manage all marketing activities to increase traffic, engagement, conversion, and ultimately meet/exceed annual revenue targets
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day duties and project management of the copy editing and web creative teams
• Work with e-commerce team to Schedule, monitor, and edit email campaigns
• Implement the brand’s social media strategy, oversee the brands daily presence across multiple social networks and oversee the creation of entertaining and engaging content
• Execute social media and digital branding programs & promotions from concept to execution in partnership with various internal and external cross functional business partners
• Innovate new and creative ways to use social platforms and digital content to tell stories and interact with the audience
• Initiate the development and/or gather assets to distribute across multiple networks

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years marketing with online and social media experience mandatory
• Excellent planning, time management, collaboration and decision making skills
• Outstanding relationship-building skills; true team player. Consistently demonstrate a positive and collaborative approach – comfortable working with various functional groups across the organization
• Flexible style, comfortable in a fast paced environment, willing to prioritize work for self and team, while maintaining drive to business goals and timelines
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, CMSs, ESPs, etc.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to tailor communication, flexing up to senior-most leadership levels, among cross functional peers, and to functional individual contributors. Ability to present data persuasively
• Knowledge of Facebook Insights and Google Analytics, as well as CRM database concepts
• Strong analytical skills - ability to turn empirical data into insightful, strategic decisions and tactical plans
• Ability and willingness to adapt to organizational and process change to meet evolving needs, systems and objectives
• Ability to internalize function-specific goals, and synthesize and triage into a sound strategy that meets bigger picture goals
• Flexible style, comfortable in a fast paced environment, willing to prioritize work for self and team, while maintaining drive to business goals and timelines
• Appreciation of the brand’s unique culture, entrepreneurial attitude, heritage and passion for its products
