Christie Brinkley is an incredibly well-kept 60-year-old. (See photo evidence, above.) So it's with some interest that we learned Friday morning that the supermodel has gone from fronting beauty brands like CoverGirl to putting out her own range of skincare products, called the Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare Collection.
The line is meant to protect against UVA and UVB rays, with a particular emphasis on battling the effects of the sun's less publicized infrared radiation — a nice way to differentiate itself from everything else in the anti-aging creams vs. the sun market. And after spending her modeling days running around on the beach with a deep tan, Brinkley herself is rather well positioned to be a spokesperson for the power of products that mitigate sun damage.
The good news, should you start worriedly Googling infrared rays right this minute, is that the range is relatively affordable, at $22.95 to $79.95. Accordingly, it will be available at HSN and Kohl's come March of next year.
