Zooey Deschanel has long reigned as the poster child for a feminine, demure, often retro aesthetic. But lately, a buzzy British actress has been owning a similar look.

Felicity Jones, who also has bangs and big, blue eyes, has been wearing an assortment of sweet, ladylike dresses on her press tour for "The Theory of Everything," in which she plays Jane Hawking opposite Eddie Redmayne.

From a blush pink Dior gown to Tuesday evening's navy pleated Fendi cocktail dress (seen above), Jones' choices are smart, unfussy, and often feature an A-line silhouette and a high neckline, accessorized with classics like black pumps and delicate earrings. Not that we don't appreciate a nipple pasty here and there, but there's a timeless elegance to all of it that is missing from the red carpet these days.
