A new, cutting-edge luxury accessories/jewelry brand launching in New York Fashion Week F/W ‘15 is seeking applicants for the role of showroom sales representative. The ideal candidate is an intuitive self-starter with strong time management skills who works well under pressure. Applicants with fine jewelry, luxury, designer fashion or agency experience are preferred.

This position will handle all day to day aspects of sales for an innovative, directional fashion accessories/jewelry brand and will allow for daily interaction with the founders/creative directors of the brand. The position requires excellent connections in the high-end jewelry and fashion world as well as attention to detail, the ability to self-motivate and strong organizations skills.

Desired Skills:

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with a designer jewelry or luxury brand
- 2 to 3 years showroom experience
- Excellent connections with specialty retailers and buyers
- Computer Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
- Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done; especially when important deadlines and events cause greater than normal pressures

Responsibilities:

Employee will have responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:

1. Manage all sales strategy, implementation and fulfillment for the company
2. Schedule and Attend Sales Appointments with Buyers
3. Collect and coordinate store orders
4. Manage direct sales orders and fulfillment
5. Outreach to wholesale accounts and retailers
6. Assist in maintenance of various log books, charts and reference resources
7. Assist with the creation of line sheets and marketing materials for vendors and direct customers
8. Assist with Special Projects as needed

Note: Compensation and title will depend on previous work experience.
