Speaking of supermodels, Cindy Crawford told ES Magazine that the heyday she and fellow supermodels  Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington enjoyed is over. She says it’s harder today for models to get magazine covers or major cosmetics contracts, which is where the money is. Though it’s no secret that many of those jobs have been going to actresses and singers for a few decades now, the success of models like Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss and the resurgence of models on major magazine covers like Vogue and Wmay be signs that another heyday on its way. {Evening Standard}

The brand has even found a way to protect itself against the country’s economic recession by creating an inexpensive “anti-crisis consumer basket.” {Business of Fashion}
