Keri Russell is one of Hollywood's more under-the-radar style stars. She's not much of an event-hopper, but when she does make an appearance, she looks good — from head to toe.
Still, her outfits are usually pretty safe: She'll wear a jumpsuit or tight skirt that hugs her tiny frame, but it tends to be in a sold black or white. So the outfit she chose this past weekend for a panel discussion about her excellent show "The Americans" was a bit of a risk. According to Red Carpet Fashion Awards, she paired a leopard print Saint Laurent blouse with a green leather Balenciaga skirt, which, somehow, doesn't overwhelm her one bit. She look as dainty, feminine and classy as ever.
She smartly kept the rest of her look pretty low-key: simple black pumps, a little eyeliner, subtle coral lipstick and perfectly-mussed hair.
We like that she (or her stylist) chose olive green for the skirt instead of basic black. If you're going to pair leopard with leather, this is the way to do it. Though you may also need a little of that general physical perfection thing that Russell has going for her to really pull it off. So, start working on that.
