Showroom 35 in NYC is seeking two part time Jewelry Design Interns. One position is unpaid, and can go towards school credit (should be a student still in school). The paid position is for a recent grad looking to gain experience in the Jewelry Design field.

Student- Jewelry design (unpaid) internship:

  •  20 hours a week in NYC office
  •  Work with Jewelry design team on multiple brands
  •  Assist & learn the technical spec sheet process for overseas development as directed/ some knowledge of Adobe creative suite required
  •  Help execute trend boards for meetings, and updating boards as directed Assist packing and unpacking samples for accounts
  • Errands, special research projects as needed  
  •   Design capsule collection for your portfolio at end of internship for review with team (or other similar special project towards personal goal) 
  •  Assist team set up showrooms for internal and external client meetings:
    • Help manipulate samples internally, light hand work/ jewelry making skills required
    • Create packaging mock-ups if needed
    • Help with showroom break down/set up

Jewelry Design Paid Internship: 

  • Recent grad - Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • Pay $15 an hour for 20-30 hours a week.
  • 1-3 years costume jewelry industry experience preferred, some knowledge of jewelry teching for overseas production needed.
  • Must be comfortable with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop. 

Responsibilities:

  •  Assisting with jewelry techs
  • Assisting with Package design techs
  • Making boards, updating boards
  • Assist on shipment packing and showroom set ups
  • Pre-Market merchandising assistance:
    • Help correct samples internally before market (when we need a little length tweak, new clasp, ect)
    • Create packaging mock-ups for showroom if needed
    • Help with showroom break down/set up
  • Errands, special research projects as needed
  • Post-market assistance:
    • Assist with final comments

Student- Retail Analyst/Sales internship

  • 20 hours a week in NYC office (flexible)
  • Assist internal sales and merchandising teams
