When Withings released its Activité fitness tracking watch back in June, the leather-banded device stood out from the pack thanks to its analog good looks. The French company has now dropped a second watch, the Activité Pop, which comes in "azure," "shark grey" and "sand" with a bunch of wristband options to come. A little more fun, still very classy. Sand.

As with the original Activité, the watch measures sleep and movement, and there are two dials on its face to show the time and the wearer's progress in his or her activity goals. And like its predecessor, the Activité Pop syncs up with the Withings Health Mate App so you can get reminders and achievement badges while you wear it. They both have insane battery life (roughly eight months) and change time zones automatically.

The big difference is that it's way cheaper: a suggested retail price of $150 versus the Activité's $450 listing on the Withings website. Yes, mathletes, that is a third of the price. With its silicon band, it's sportier and a less evocative of luxury watches — when the Activité launched, Withings made a big deal of its Swiss manufacture origins.

Should you wish to kick off your New Year's health plans with a new fitness tracker, the Activité Pop is slated to go on sale Monday online at Best Buy.
