There was a lot going on fashion-wise around the world this weekend. Between Tom Ford's runway show on Friday and the Oscars on Sunday, both in Los Angeles, the industry's attention hasn't been squarely focused on the shows in London. The British crowd already feels free to be a little bit wacky, a little more casual and a little more personal in its street style choices, but there was definitely an easier vibe this weekend as many top editors and A-list stars missed out on the proceedings.

Not to mention the weather is warmer than in New York -- hello toes and legs! -- and despite moody English weather, everyone's style was a welcome reminder that spring is, in fact, around the corner. Soon enough the denim layers, sandals, mini skirts, patterned jumpsuits and short chic jackets on the London streets won't seem like such unusual concepts, though the British styling sensibility will always been one of a kind.
