Once again, extravagance took a backseat to practicality amongst celebrities this week, many of whom have been in Paris for the last leg of the fall 2015 fashion shows. Their outfits had practical elements for low temps, like pants (Audrey Tautou, Solange Knowles, Dakota Johnson), tights (Kris Jenner, Carine Roitfeld) and long sleeves (nearly everyone). What's more, this week's best dressed ladies didn't even dare to experiment with color, save for Chloë Sevigny, who wore a patterned dress by Louis Vuitton.

That's not to say they didn't look chic: In Paris, the top prize goes to Johnson and her awesome off-the-shoulder Dior pantsuit, but we also loved Lorde's ankle-length pinafore dress (paired adorably with a backpack), Olivia Palermo's blazer-with-fur-stole and even Jenner's navy Lanvin number.

Though she wasn't in Paris, Cate Blanchett chose a cream and navy look by Paris-based brand Céline for a "Cinderella" premiere, where she stood in sharp contrast to co-star Lily James, who went for a more princess-like gown by Elie Saab.
