When a celebrity comes out to attend a major fashion show, it's all but guaranteed that the house will have outfitted her head-to-toe for the occasion. Sometimes the walking advertising makes itself a bit too clear; the styling too on the nose. But in an ideal world, the famous person will find a way to make the clothes look like a natural part of her wardrobe — the best kind of endorsement a brand can get.
At Chanel's fall 2015 show on Tuesday, Florence Welch accomplished the latter with aplomb, giving a dusty pink suit from the house's spring 2015 collection a casual rock and roll vibe with a loose white shirt, layered necklaces, some studded black booties and one of those floppy hats she loves so much. Also, her hair looked especially kickass.
But the big takeaway here might be how easy she makes wearing pink, high-waisted, wide-legged pants look. This might be something worth looking into for spring, even for those of us who aren't earth-shaking musical goddesses.
