Face wash o'clock is my favorite time of the day.

Some people complain about having to wash their face at the end of the day. I love it, and that's entirely to do with the oil cleanser I'm currently using: a formulation rich in rosehip, olive and grapeseed oil from Julep.

Full disclosure: I originally got this product as a press sample. That said, I'm draining it fast — I double wash at night — and when it's all gone, I fully intend to purchase another bottle. Previous to this one, I was using The Face Shop's rice oil cleanser, which was good but wasn't nearly as thick as Julep's, which is viscous. The consistency is a) fantastic for removing your makeup and b) leaves your face feeling nice and moisturized once you've washed it off. There's pretty much nothing in the beauty world I hate as much as face wash that leaves your skin feeling tight.

Comparatively, here is how I feel when I use this one.

So. Damn. Good. Worth the price, I promise.

Julep Bare Face Cleansing Oil, $28, available at Julep.
