Beyond the collection's chainmail, studded collars, velvet tunics and lace-up platform boots, there was an angry creepiness to Alexander Wang's fall runway show achieved by the models' clomping walks, the dark techno music and the narrow runway.

Featuring Wang's favorite models grouped together on a deserted concrete and brick set, like a very fashionable gang on the verge of action, the fall campaign manages to preserve that goth sensibility while also casting it in a new light.

Models Anna Ewers, Molly Bair, Binx Walton, Lexi Boling, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Sarah Brannon and Isabella Emmack were photographed in black and white by Steven Klein with Japanese dancers AyaBambi and singer Alice Glass in the collection's black velvet dresses and outerwear accented by studs and big fur collars.

In a second image, a smaller group of models wear the chainmail mesh pieces that closed the fall show. Here, these pieces almost look like they could be wearable in real life. If you belong to a tough girl gang, that is.

Update: A third campaign image has been released, with more chunky, layered outwear and the delightfully creepy Molly Bair front and center.
