Take a moment to study Topshop's recent string of campaign stars and collaborators, and you might notice a pattern. Between Cara Delevingne's ads for both fall 2014 and spring 2015, Hailey Baldwin's debut as the brand's face of denim this spring, plus its recent partnership with Kendall and Kylie Jenner on a summer capsule collection, it's clear that the British retailer is going after a social media-savvy customer — as all of these ladies have tens of millions of Instagram followers between them.

The latest beauty to front a Topshop campaign, who boasts 4.9 million fans on the platform herself, is Gigi Hadid, who was just announced as the brand's fall campaign star. Shot by Tyrone Lebon and styled by Topshop's Kate Phelan, Hadid — who already has both a Max Mara and a Balmain campaign under her belt this season — is further cementing her position as one of the premiere supermodels of her generation, following in the footsteps of her aforementioned peers, as well as the ultimate Topshop muse, Kate Moss. 

In the images, the 20-year-old model poses solo in classic fall staples, like thigh-high boots, faux fur coats, head-to-toe denim, a tailored tuxedo and plaid aplenty. Topshop also got in on the athleisure game, letting Hadid show off her super-fit physique (and her shadowboxing skills) in a sports bra and briefs.

In addition to securing one of the biggest names in the modeling industry for its fall campaign, Topshop has impressive expansion plans for 2016, including store openings in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Middle East, New Zealand and Panama, so we're thinking it's not a coincidence that new face Hadid has such international appeal.
