While onstage talking "Orange is the New Black" in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, Uzo Aduba made a subtle nod to the show's title in a clever way. Her L.K. Bennett white sundress was covered in an abstract print of orange and black. Fine, there's some sky blue in there too, but the connection still stands.
The colorful sleeveless dress has a wide long skirt, perfect for sitting up on stage without exposing too much leg. Her white pumps accented by tassels on the heels unified the entire look in a polished way. It's refreshing to see Aduba with her long hair down since we are so used to seeing it up in her character's signature buns. As with many of the women from the prison show — or any costume-heavy series, for that matter — it's still delightful to spot an actress we see so often hidden in character looking like a million bucks off camera. And whether she's dressed up for a panel or wearing sneakers on stage with Taylor Swift, Aduba always looks classic and feminine.
