Shortly after DKNY scrubbed its Twitter history of the commentary crafted by the popular and insider-y "DKNY PR Girl" — formerly helmed by real-life SVP of Global Communications Aliza Licht — change is underway for @OscarPRGirl as well. Oscar de la Renta's Erika Bearman, the woman behind that particular handle, has departed her role as SVP of Global Communications after six years with the company.

A rep for the brand confirmed to Fashionista that Bearman has made the leap to consulting and that Oscar de la Renta is her first client. She'll be advising the company on communications and branding.

The @OscarPRGirl handle will continue on under new authorship. Bearman's replacement has not yet been named.

But back to DKNY briefly: Page Six reported Tuesday night that Licht is also departing her role at Donna Karan. ("Sources" say.) Licht didn't immediately respond to request for comment on this front, but we wouldn't be surprised if she's making a jump after 17 years at the brand. Both the company's eponymous founder and longtime communications head Patti Cohen stepped down in July and May, respectively — shortly after parent company LVMH named Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow of Public School as creative directors of DKNY. The duo are set to debut their first collection as co-designers of the brand in September.
