It's been well over a month since Uniqlo provided us with that first sneak peek of its forthcoming collaboration with Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran (of French label Lemaire) for the Japanese retailer, due out Oct. 2. I'll be honest when I say that in early July, I wasn't quite ready to think about draping myself in cashmere. Now, on the heels of a New York heat wave and just weeks before fashion month kicks off, I'm much more willing — eager, even — to look at a lookbook that revolves around chic, cozy knits.
Uniqlo released the full Lemaire lookbook and campaign on Tuesday, showing us an aesthetic that remains as close to Lemaire's familiar, Parisian elegance as possible. The styling — again, much like Lemaire's own line — is kept clean, with slightly tousled hair and barely there makeup serving as the models' only accessories. The prices should entice you, too, starting at just $39.90 for a pair of Merino leggings and going up to $189.90 for a chunky cashmere robe coat.
