We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but... summer is almost over! It's true — the passage of time is a wacky thing. The upside, though? We can start thinking seriously about fall fashion, and all the incredible new makeup looks that come along with it.

This season is bursting with gorgeous beauty inspirations we've been dying to try out since we first saw them hit the runways in February. From lush, '90s-inspired lip color to a super rich metallic eye, fall is the perfect time to experiment with makeup. (It's a whole lot easier trying out the latest trends when they aren't melting off your face the second you step outside!)

As with all things complementary, certain makeup trends look best with certain eye colors. But that doesn't mean you should let the color you were born with limit your options. You can use AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses to enhance these stunning looks even further, and incorporate color contacts into your daily beauty routine.

Are you ready? Let's get experimenting!

The Trend: Extra Bold Brows

Looks best on: Blue or green eyes

Whether you're going over-the-top with a pencil or doing a more subtle filled-in look, there's no denying that the bold brow is one of fall 2015's biggest beauty trends. Using powder, pencil, or gel, the options are truly limitless. Try going a shade or two darker than your natural brow color to really make a big brow statement.

Anyone can rock a bold brow, but we love how it looks paired with light blue or green eyes. Talk about a defining beauty moment!

Don’t have green eyes? Ask your eye doctor about AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses in Green or Gemstone Green to enhance these stunning stunning looks even further and incorporate color contact lenses into your daily routine.

Lipstick lovers, rejoice! Berry-stained lips were all the rage this season on the runway. Whether you're into classic matte sticks or modern-day stains, trust us: All the cool girls will be digging this throwback hue.

While a moody pout looks perfect on pretty much everyone, we love the way it contrasts with blue eyes to make them pop. A little bit '90s, a lot 2015.

The classic smokey eye is getting a much needed update for fall 2015. Designers experimented with a super smudgy dark brown, a gorgeous plum and blue version, and some even added a striking touch of emerald. The best thing about the smokey eye trend? It's super easy to pull off. Remember: It's supposed to look a little messy!

We love the way this '60s, feline-inspired style makes green and hazel eyes pop. Meee-ow.

From bronze shimmery shadow to yellow-gold peepers, gilded lids are having a major moment this season. Try pairing metallic shadow with a nude lip to make a beauty statement worth 24 karats. Bronzed-up skin adds to the overall glowing effect.

We love how these warm and shimmery golden shades pair with icy blue eyes — truly a study in mixing the elements of gorgeousness.

Don't have naturally rosy cheeks? Fake it this fall with a saturated dose of blush, which made quite an impact on the runways. While some kept things flushed with a pinky-purple tone (also worn on the lids), others made his models look slightly windburned in a just-skied-all-day kind of way. Marant's girls wore a subdued, peachy tone — very French femme chic.

The best thing about statement blush? It looks amazing with any eye color! Feel free to experiment with any contact color you choose.

You need to have a prescription to wear AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses. Don’t sleep in these lenses, and don’t share them with your friends. Ask your eye doctor for complete wear, care and safety information.
