Designers' affinity for the fashion of decades past is evident on the spring 2016 runways, and '90s-inspired styles are back again in the collections out of New York, London and Milan. One of the recurring themes we've seen is the apron neckline, which appeared at shows such as Michael Kors, David Koma and Bottega Veneta. There's no reason to restrict this one to memories of minimalist '90s proms, however. Designers are pairing the trend with pleats, embellishments and tied waists to give them a modern feel.
