You know that moment when you're running late to a show because you had to get out of your car four blocks away because this city decided to stop using the streets for any kind of forward motion and your phone is teetering on the edge of 10 percent battery, which sometimes means it just turns off randomly because you're trying to upload a Snapchat video that got stuck on its way to the cloud at the industrial dome where your last show took place across town and you can't even see the entrance because a swarm of bloggers and street style stars and randos and rubberneckers and photographers and giant black SUVs and people handing out Rihanna's latest fragrance while wearing pink gloves are populating the entire sidewalk and the last thing you want is to show up in the background of some picture that will get sold to a European magazine for an absurd amount of money as a way to demonstrate trends and your heart is going like mad? Sure you do, and so does this guy. This innocent bystander is all of us.
