As a fitness enthusiast with an above-average bra size, I've had to experiment with lots of activewear over the years in order to find tops that are supportive enough for a wide variety of workouts, from boxing to spinning to rowing. To make things even trickier, I need them to be comfortable, since there is nothing worse than a too-tight sports bra digging into your shoulders or ribcage during an already horrible set of burpees.
I was recently introduced to this new option from Victoria's Secret Sport featuring a "bra-in-bra" design, and after wearing it to a few different classes, I can attest to its effectiveness. When you pull it on, you first snap into a front-closure layer that fits very much like an everyday bra, with fitted cups and an underwire. Then, for extra support, there's another layer that zips shut, giving it that classic sporty appearance, providing fuller coverage and eliminating bounce. (Regarding the latter, I jumped rope in this baby, so trust me on that one.)
Sure, there's lots of fashion-y activewear on the market right now, but if you're in search of a piece that can really go the distance and keep you looking cute, I highly recommend this one.
Knockout by Victoria's Secret Front-Close Sport Bra, from $56.50, available at Victoria's Secret.
