In addition to a plate of tryptophan and outfit so festive that your relatives won't dare ask how your life of eternal loneliness is going, this Thanksgiving will also involve a performance by Mariah Carey at the 89th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The songstress, who's responsible for the best Christmas song of all time, rehearsed her musical set in New York City Tuesday night, and although she wasn't performing for a crowd of millions just yet, she still kept her glam factor at 100.

Carey knows that the formula for a diva-worthy ensemble, particularly in the winter, involves a fabulous statement coat. The singer opted for a Stella McCartney creation from the British designer's #FurFreeFur campaign, which she unveiled back in March with her fall 2015 collection. Made of ivory-colored modacrylic that's shortened and crimped, the oversized "Ramona" coat looks as cozy as it does real. No wonder McCartney just won a British Fashion Award for Brand of the Year.

No need to worry about styling the rest of the look — a pair of black oversized sunglasses, opaque tights and pumps are more than enough. With an embroidered patch on the right sleeve cuff that reads "Fur Free Fur," Carey can let the coat do most of the talking.
