As we slide further into November, my rabid passion for the holiday season will become evident across the Fashionista site. I was once compared to an elf of the North Pole variety by a family member who shall remain nameless, and, truthfully, they weren't wrong — as long as we're talking about my love for Tim Allen's 1994 cinematic masterpiece, The Santa Clause, here. In fact, one of the most crucial costumes in the film is a pair of silk, ruby red pajamas which are similar to some sleepwear I owned as a kid. Special-occasion PJs, especially for the holidays, were an important tradition for my family, and remain so even now; on Christmas morning, my brother and I sleepily head downstairs to check our stockings before commencing our gift-giving festivities. We eat too much for breakfast, and don't change out of our pajamas until noon.
Enter Sleepy Jones's long-sleeved tent stripe set, which, at $276 for both the shirt and the pants, costs more than I'd ordinarily drop on something meant to be worn to bed. But now that I'm an "adult," I feel it's permissible to spend money on a set I'll not only wear for years, but will especially cherish during Christmastime. It certainly doesn't hurt, either, that these PJs blatantly look like candy canes.
Now back to your regularly scheduled Thanksgiving programming.
