When the CFDA released its official schedule for the upcoming New York Fashion Week late last week, the unfamiliar brand "RR 331" was on the lineup for Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. — just between Oscar de la Renta and Narciso Rodriguez. As it turns out, the label marks Ralph Rucci's return to the fashion calendar, and, according to WWD, is a line of apparel and footwear with a "broader range" of price points.

Rucci, who left his high-end namesake label in 2014, was one of the last American designers to show couture. (His final show on the Couture Week schedule was in 2009.) Rucci's return will debut in Times Square, which makes us wonder if a digital presentation utilizing the location's famous jumbo screens is in the works.

Reps for both Rucci and the CFDA did not immediately return our requests for comment about RR 331. We will update this space as we learn more.
