Donald Trump, the official Republican presidential nominee (let that soak in a second), isn't a minimalist when it comes to his tanning routine. Jason Kelly — the Cleveland-based makeup artist who has been working with various politicians at the Republican National Convention, including Trump himself — spoke to Harper's Bazaar about what his week has been like. Kelly, who happens to be a Hillary Clinton supporter, revealed various beauty secrets in the interview, including the fact that Paul Ryan likes to have his inner-eyes brightened and the tops of his ears powdered (a weird similarity to Kylie Jenner, who has also been known to dabble in ear makeup).

But the most noteworthy tidbit from the interview was, of course, about Trump. Kelly — who also works with the Cleveland Cavaliers (cue my personal internal freak-out) — outlined his extensive game plan for dealing with the nominee's notoriously orange complexion. (Oh, and the curious, whitish circles that sometimes appear around his eyes.) "I know exactly what he does to himself — the tanning bed, the spray tan, he wears the goggles and you can see the hyperpigmentation around his eyes," said Kelly. "What I'll do is use a slightly deeper color and blend it into his tan so there's not an abrupt contrast. I'm ready for it." Glad there will be at least one man present at the RNC who seems to have a handle on things.
