Former Octopi Designer Launches Vintage Jewelry Site
We were sad to see Brooklyn-based fashion brand Octopi say goodbye last year, but luckily for us co-designer Sarah Welsh Elliott has been plenty busy since she and Madeline Davy closed up shop.
Her new project? Welsh Elliott Modernism, an e-commerce site stocked with vintage jewelry carefully selected by the designer. Octopi had its own range of graphic, modern jewelry, so it’s no surprise Welsh Elliott’s eye is so sharp. Here, you’ll find Robert Lee Morris, Givenchy, and Pierre Cardin, as well as collectable mid-century Scandinavian and Mexican artists.
