Kate Middleton may have worn a custom Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown to marry Prince William, but she’s a commoner at heart. She’s not afraid to shop at Zara frequently, nor is she afraid to wear her purchases over and over again. Just like, you know, most women do. We’re not so naive Read more →
The CFDA Awards, the “Oscars of Fashion” (if the Met Gala is the red carpet, the CFDAs are the actual awards), take place this Monday. In advance of the awards, we sent over some questionnaires to the nominees to find out how they reacted to being nominated, their biggest challenges, and sillier stuff like their Read more →
This weekend marks the one year anniversary of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Remember that one? Sarah Burton gown, lots of weird fascinators, maid of honor’s spectacular ass? Well, according to reports, the happy (not-yet-pregnant) couple reportedly will celebrate quietly, because unlike their respective siblings, these two don’t really party much. Maybe they’ll just rent a movie and lie around in matching bathrobes.
Which is something they would totally do, and we have the photographic evidence to prove it.
This morning, the Duchess of Cambridge made her first speech ever and rather than buy a new dress for the occasion, she wore one from Reiss’ fall 2008 collection…that her mother wore two years ago, Grazia points out.
Only Kate Middleton could make a pair of non-descript, nude pumps so covetable that it necessitates a whole news story when they finally hit stores stateside. Her signature L.K. Bennett “Sledge” pumps have already caused a mini-shopping frenzy since they became available for purchase online at Nordstrom, according to SheFinds.
Celebrate the Duchess of Cambridge‘s 30th birthday by reliving some of her best sartorial moments–from her gorgeous Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress, to the sheer student-designed frock that reportedly sparked her and Wills romance.

What with the whole marrying a prince and shooting to international fame thing, I think it’s safe to say that 2011 was a pretty damn good year to be a Middleton.
But besides the obvious (fairy-tale wedding, designers vying to dress them, etc), Kate and Pippa triumphed in several other ways: They set trends, broke records (or helped to), traveled the globe, and had thousands of women doing lunges and squats in an effort to get that perfect Middleton bum.
Read on to relive the best Middleton moments from 2011.
So we may or may not watch the E! reality show Kendra from time to time. She’s likable. She keeps it real. And apparently, she sometimes wears basketball shorts to five-star restaurants, which is why on this week’s season premiere, her agent forces her to meet with a stylist. But, not just any stylist.
Nikki Pennie, who hails from the UK, is apparently responsible for Kate Middleton’s infatuation with Issa, as in the famous blue dress she wore for the official engagement announcement back in November. (She also wore the label frequently before and after.) Pennie was Issa’s director of public relations, according to her bio, and was dubbed a “PR Powerhouse” by Vogue UK.
So how did Nikki Pennie go from putting the Duchess of Cambridge in conservative frocks to dressing a former Girl Next Door?
Kate Middleton and sis Pippa got rather posh this weekend for a friend’s wedding in Wiltshire, England. While we like seeing them in their high street ensembles, we really love it when they look completely English in hats and color.
Kate broke out the Erdem again, this time a scarlet lace version. (The DailyMail reports that she wore Collette Dinnigan, though we’re more inclined to believe WWD which reported that it was Erdem.) The shoes are also a point of contention between the two papers–WWD reports LK Bennett, and the Daily Mail thinks they’re Prada. She topped it all off with a jaunty red hat, which is not the same one she wore with that famous red and white Canadian outfit.
