Elisabetta Canalis for Cavalli: George Clooney’s girlfriend bares it all in a second round of ads for Roberto Cavalli, donning nothing but red lips and select pieces from the designer’s new underwear collection. Cavalli has called Canalis his “ideal of a woman.” Le sexy. {HuffPo}
Wrap it Up in Chanel: Designer bags are so last year. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, images of Chanel condoms have been making the rounds on the internets, with an photo of the designer condoms appearing branded with a “Keep it Classy” slogan below the interlocked C’s. Rumored at $279 for a 12-pack, getting some wouldn’t be cheap for the couples interested in these Chanel rubbers. However, upon further investigation, it seems these love gloves are (shockingly!) only a rumor…but we don’t think it’s such a horrible idea. {Refinery 29}
Anna From the Block: Vogue EIC Anna Wintour left the confines of Manhattan for her stepson Sam Shaffer’s surprise birthday bash at Frank’s Lounge in Fort Green, Brooklyn. But, true to to her ways, Wintour did not arrive solo–she came with her boyfriend Shelby Bryan, Vogue senior accessories editor Filipa Fino and stylist Christian Stroble. It’s never a party until the fashion arrives. {NYPost}
Smells Like Love: Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom think their love is unbreakable…or at least that what their new fragrance seems to suggest. Right in time for Valentine’s Day, the reality star and basketball stud launch a unisex eau de toilette spray that “fuses their personalities” and will be sold exclusively at Perfumania. And since Kim generally hogs most of the spotlight, it’s only fair that Khloe should finally have her own fragrance. {Racked}

While many designers have had major success with discount retailers like Target and H&M, Vera Wang might be the most multi-faceted when it comes to affordable collaborations.
Wang released a mattress collection with Serta in 2006, she sells Simply Vera, an affordable collection (which reportedly remained profitable even during the recession), at Kohl’s, and she’s about to release her first David’s Bridal collection, which includes wedding dresses under $1,500. Oh, and she designs floral arrangements for FTD. But she isn’t stopping there. After dresses and flowers and mattresses, what could be next? The future is looking sparkly.

Gemma Ward Says She’ll Head Back to the Catwalk Someday: The crux of this story is the former It-model’s relationship with Heath Ledger, but we’re more interested in her possible return to the runway. {HuffPo}
Note to Self: Don’t Knock Off the Birkin: Contemporary label Thursday Friday is in deep water after releasing a tote bag which featured a photo of the Hérmes Birkin bag. Thursday Friday screen-printed the image of the red iconic bag onto their eco-friendly tote bags, and while the bag certainly isn’t a knock-off, per se, Hermés seems to think the label is “confusing” and “misleading” its buyers. The amount for which Thursday Friday is being sued has not been disclosed, but we’re guessing the major luxury label isn’t asking for petty change. {She Finds}

Club Monaco’s Spring 2011 collection, full of summery day-to-night pieces in warm neutrals and cheeky pastels, is a youthful range that perfectly embodies photographer Ryan McGinley’s style of capturing a moment.
For the Spring 2011 campaign, the label enlisted 19 style setters, whose varying personal style represents the brand’s dedication to fresh fashion, to be shot by McGinley. They include Lou Dillon, Lauren Hutton, The Virgins’ frontman Donald Cummings, and artist Mitch Ferrin, to name a few.
But last evening’s event had more to offer than just a glimpse at the airy spring collection. The Club Monaco on Prince Street transformed from a daytime store to an after-hours venue, featuring live music by Domino Kirke, who was also featured in the campaign, and the young duo the Flash Times, who provided the soundtrack to the behind-the-scenes campaign video. Bloggers, musicians and scenesters alike browsed Club Monaco’s spring collection, from which they were allowed to choose one item to keep.
“The campaign shoot was so much fun. Ryan was really funny and laid back,” said Kirke after her performance.
McGinley, true to his in-the-moment style of photography, shot much of the campaign in a photo booth, capturing the real interactions between the participants, who, according to Mitch Ferrin, didn’t know each other upon arrival but were all hugging by the time the campaign shoot ended.
As for the effect of the campaign? It seemed to emanate the kind of cool Club Monaco was aiming for: the photo booth in the corner of the store had a line the entire evening.
