Gap Tries To Fix What’s Not Broken: Yesterday, Gap dropped its iconic logo that almost everyone and their mother could recognize for a Helvetica font logo with a weird blue square behind it. Brand Channel has some strong words on the change: “Ditching the classic logo, recognized by everyone, in favor of whatever that new monstrosity is, demonstrates a prototypical brand panic move…Ironically maybe, the new logo is perfect for the brand.
