Oscar de la Renta and André Leon Talley Team up For New Exhibition

André Leon Talley adds another notch to his curating belt (he previously curated an exhibit for SCAD) this December for the Queen Sofía Spanish Institute’s newest exhibition, Joaquín Sorolla and the Glory of Spanish Dress, dreamed up by Oscar de la Renta.

The exhibit explores the sartorial history of Spain’s various regions through the work of Valencian painter Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida. More than 30 examples of Spanish men’s and women’s clothing and accessories will appear alongside stunning tableaus, ranging from everyday attire to more dramatic formal wear.
