French Intimates Brand Pull-In Opens Shop on the Bowery

The tongue-in-cheek French intimates brand, Pull-In, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the launch of a flagship concept store on the Bowery in New York.

The brand’s philosophy? Just because you’re all grown up doesn’t mean you have to strictly stick to granny panties or silky little numbers under there. Pull-In’s unique undies for men and women are decorated in vibrant prints that include cupcakes, kiwis, and DC comic book characters.

Behind the Scenes at David Yurman’s New York-Inspired Fall Ad Campaign With Alex White and Arizona Muse

If there is such a thing as fashion heaven, it was the set of David Yurman‘s fall ad campaign last week. Imagine budding models Arizona Muse and Joan Smalls, styled by Alex White, posing in front of legendary fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh‘s lens. In a word, epic.

On a sunny Friday morning, we were lucky enough to sneak onto the set at Fraunces Tavern in the Financial District of Manhattan with this all-star team. When we first arrived at the historic tavern, we expected to be intimidated and awestruck, but instead, we felt as if we had walked into a family get together. Both White and Lindbergh have worked with the Yurman clan, who were also on set, for many years.

But though the brand assembled all of their usual suspects, there was one something different about the campaign–New York.

Kate Middleton’s Dress-Making Team at McQueen Thought They Were Working on a Movie Costume

Just because Kate Middleton‘s wedding dress and its designer have been revealed, doesn’t mean it’s time to stop obsessing over it.

There are still so many questions! The foremost being, how in the world was the dress kept a secret?!

There have been rumors of secret meetings behind locked doors, and that the dress was created in pieces.

The latest scoop, reported by Us Weekly, says that the lace-makers were told that they were working on a dress for a British costume drama. Seamstresses at Alexander McQueen also thought that the gown was for a film (no wonder why no one blabbed). Fashion News Roundup: Pippa Middleton Parties With Her Top Off, Kate Moss Gets an Exhibit, and Beyonce Can’t Get Anna Wintour to Dance

Pippa the Party Girl: Though we love us some Kate Middleton, it’s obvious that Pippa is the fun sister. The younger Middleton works as a party planner, and judging from a picture floating around the internet, she’s got plenty of partying experience under her belt. The image shows Pippa, wearing only a bra on top (her body looks ridic, natch), dancing with a shirtless boy. In the background, tables are filled with bottles of booze. {Huffington Post}

Knockoffs at Tiffany’s: Tiffany & Co. has a new collection of jewelry that resembles a thin twisted rope tied into a dainty bow. The designs share a strikingly close resemblance to Brooklyn-based designer Kiel Mead’s collection of “Forget Me Not” accessories that he first produced in 2005. {UnBeige}

Kate Moss Gets an Exhibit in New York: Beginning on May 17th, the Danziger Projects gallery in New York will transform into a Kate Moss shrine. The exhibit, The Moss Portfolio and Other Stories, will feature 11 famous portraits of the model as well as images of Moss before she was famous. {ELLE}
