Hey Guys,

I just got back from Sundance and I thought you would find this interesting: I didn’t get to see The September Issue.

However, I did see the U.S. premier of Rudo y Cursi Friday night and guess who was there? Not just Anna Wintour but also her daughter Bee. Apparently they’re big Gael Garcia Bernal/Diego Luna fans as well. The strange thing is, I don’t think anyone else in the theater recognized them.

So this is how the story went:

I walked into RRL in Soho, I shop, then do a double take. I say hello to Ms. Wintour and tell her “OMG, I could just cry”, so she says, “No, please don’t cry” in her lovely British accent. I ask for a photo with her, she politely declines saying she’s just left the dentist. Thinking to myself, When is this ever going to happen to me again? Hm, never, I say “Well, you can put your sunglasses on.”

She gives in, puts the Chanel’s on, asks Bee to come take the picture, and there you have it.

There was a photo shoot last night in Central Park for the Chanel Mobile Exhibit with Arlenis!

Not sure which magazine it was for, but it was mostly about the exhibit, and it had an industrial feel during exhibit set up.

The clothes were all Chanel, and it was shot by Magnus Unnar.

Patrick Demarchelier was up in Harlem on Thursday shooting Alicia Keys for Vanity Fair.

He shot her on the steps of a brownstone at 4 West 122nd Street as well as in Marcus Garvey Memorial Park playing piano in a bandshell, and also behind a lemonade stand..

At 4:51am last night, we received this e-mail:

Hey Fashionista!

I moved to LA four months ago from Philadelphia to intern at BCBG and I’ve had some interesting celebrity sightings so far, but last night blew them all away. I was waiting in line at the concessions stand at the Westfield mall movie theater in Century City when I noticed a tall, thin bleach blonde standing in the line next to me. I nudged my friend and she agreed it was Agyness Deyn! I thought I was going crazy because why would Agy be catching the 10:30 showing of Pineapple Express in Century City? But then Albert Hammond Jr. showed up to stand in line with her and I knew for sure it was her. She was wearing super high-waisted straight leg jeans, a black tank (exposed black bra), and red high top Converse. No hat or purse, just some necklaces. (I wish I had a better description, but I felt like a creep staring). She looked adorable…and saw me gawking, so she shyly looked down. She stood out in the crowd of high, fraternity sweatshirt-wearing college students, but I’m pretty sure no one knew who she was. Maybe one day when I become a designer and Agyness and I are tight, we’ll laugh about the time I saw her waiting in line to buy candy and popcorn like the rest of us little people. A girl can dream, right?

Spotted in LA a month or so before Fashion Week, Agyness with her boyfriend at the concession stand before they went back in to watch Pineapple Express. What is she doing in LA anyway? Any ideas?

Hello!

I spotted Alexander Wang this morning at 9:05 AM leaving the Condé Nast lobby with a garment bag in tote. He was wearing a loose baggy black shirt and black jeans with sneakers and his hair was super wavy.

I wonder if he was picking up samples himself because they’re top secret? Who knows? Just
wanted to let you guys know.
