Rachel Antonoff needs interns.

The second half of Mooka Kinney is working on her own line and she could use your help.

We loved the sundresses and rompers she made with her former partner Alison Lewis, and we want the two things you can see on her website, so we can pretty much guarantee you’ll play a part in some covetable and probably girly designs.

So, if you can sew, if you love fashion, if you’re desperate to learn, desperate for a hands on internship, and still haven’t figured out how you’re spending your spare time this spring, this could be the one for you.

If you were bummed, like we were, when you heard that Mooka Kinney was no more - we have some good news for you. One half of Mooka Kinney’s former design duo, Alison Lewis, has gone off to create her own label, aptly called Lewis, and the Spring 09 line just got picked up by Barneys.

After checking out her duds on the Lewis site, we’re convinced that her line will be just as successful as Mooka - featuring the same mix of girly and vintage-inspired pieces plus some really awesomely flattering stuff (I’m really into the high waisted shorts, Natalie loves the red butterfly print top - and what could say Spring better?).

And not only will Alison’s designer be easily locatable for every post-Saturday brunch shopper starting next season, Alison’s even designing an exclusive top for the store.

Can’t wait.

This may only matter to Refinery 29 staffers, but here goes:

Last night at the Men.Style.com party (or should we call it Lohan-gate?), designer Alison Lewis said she’d split with her design partner, Rachel Antonoff.

The two 26-year-olds were the chicks behind Mooka Kinney, the indie jumper label best known for getting a romper on Lily Donaldson during a summer paparazzi shoot.

They also have a dress on Carrie Bradshaw in the upcoming Sex and the City movie, which we’re seeing tonight at a screening (we’ll let you know…).

Alison will be merging with jewelry designer Samantha House on her new label, called Lewis + House.
