Back in August we got our hands on an early copy of Miss J Alexander’s book, Follow the Model: Miss J’s guide to Unleashing Presence, Poise and Power.

Now you can meet the man, the myth, the legend himself when he hits up Barnes & Noble for a book signing next week.

We can only imagine the amazing people-watching at such an event. You just know that many a girl is going to arrive ready and willing to show her “amazing” runway strut to the ANTM judge.

And his outfit is sure to be major. If you go, let us know what sort of over-the-top message he writes in the front of your book.

Someone at Barnes and Noble is a very big Louis Vuitton fan.

In fact, they’re such big fans that they’ve been waiting for almost four years to copy Louis Vuitton’s Resort 05 Globe Shopper Cabas tote bag.

The bookstore calls their khaki and forest green canvas version “The World’s Best Bookbag,” which is a more appropriate name, and tilts their inner square at an angle.

Other than that, they’ve placed zippers in the right places, made sure the handle has two colors, thrown buckles and rivets onto each side and included their address and birthday a la Vuitton.

They’ve even included a lifetime guarantee, which is so much more luxury leather brand than bookstore.

Overall, a pretty good and totally unnecessary rip-off.

No doubt you know all about the Olsen frenzy at the Union Square Barnes & Noble today, complete with special rules for those hoping to get a minute in front of each twin while they sign their new book, and the requisite PETA protesters outside.

But you’re probably wanting more, no?

Speaking of the the Twin’s new book - which, we should note, seems to be a hit already - here’s some great news for all you stalkers out there:

Mary-Kate and Ashley are following in Isaac’s recent footsteps, and making a real-life appearance at the Union Square Barnes & Noble this Tuesday (October 28), at 12:30pm, to promote Influence.

They’ll read from the book (we expect them to switch off), and everyone in the crowd will snap away like good little Gossip girls and boys, and we’re totally going to sit front row if it kills us.

It’s like Fashion Week, but with books. See you there!

To promote his new book, How to Have Style, Isaac will be doing a a VLog on the Barnes & Noble Studio page this coming Monday, and it’ll stay there all week in honor of B&N’s Fall Fashion segments.
