Union Jacked: The shredded, Union Jack peek-a-boo jeans Georgia wears in Hudson’s ads? They’re actually for sale. They retail for $297 and we kind of desperately want them. {Hudson}
The Aftermath: Taylor Jacobson says she no longer speaks to anyone in the Rachel Zoe camp. She’s been recruited to talk Twilight fashion with Louise Roe in this video, hates Robert Pattinson’s boots, but loves his Marc Jacobs suit. {E!}
Let Us Count the Ways: We love it when our mascot pops up in the most unexpected places, like on the Lands End website in a striped turtleneck and khakis. We can still hope she walks the Victoria’s Secret runway tomorrow, right? {LandsEnd}
Speaking of VS: Apparently even supermodels have to wait to a year to get their wings. Chanel Iman says she’s not going to be wearing any in her first appearance on the lingerie company’s runway. {InStyle}

Best Of: Now that Fashion Month is actually and officially over (too many forgot about Giles yesterday), the best of the month’s fashion’s been rounded up for your viewing pleasure and consequent envy. {Style}
Watch Out: Just in case you were trying to ignore her, two days after Becka Diamond was named NylonTV’s newest host, the actress is Who What Wear’s Girl of the Month - a coveted title that means she’s not going anywhere. {WWW}
Real or Rubbish: There’ve been a few whispers suggesting that once Condé Nast finishes their 25% cuts, they’ll bring Elle on board from Hachette. In that case, does Condé own every mainstream fashion magazine? And imagine a holiday party at which Katie Grand, Anna Wintour and Joe Zee all answer to the same boss. {FWD}

Say What Alber: Remember when Alber told The New Yorker he’d never do a diffusion line? And then when he did do a diffusion line? Someone did and someone asked and he just couldn’t handle it. {ElleUK}
On McQueen: Try to break up your Sarah Mower with other important critics. Like Hilary Alexander’s Alexander McQueen review; it’s twice as long and has a video of the show (since Lady Gaga killed the initial live stream for most of us). {The Telegraph}
The Fat Lady Is Not Singing Yet: It’s still unclear how many more names will be added to the 180 that already lost their jobs this week at Condé Nast. How un-fun are those flights back from Paris going to be? {NY Observer}
They All Fall Down: We’re rather partial to the “Drop It Like You’re Hot” but what’s your favorite Falling Model dance? What would have happened to me if I ever tried to put on those McQueen shoes defies all known categories. {The Frisky}

Cat’s Meow: We’ve missed you this season, Catherine McNeil, though you look perfectly content posing for Greg Kadel in Vogue Italia. {Models}
No Models? Mon Dieu!: German magazine Brigitte’s banned professional models from its pages. They say they’ve been using Photoshop to fatten up girls for years and they give up. So from now on, it’s “real women” only. {The Guardian}
Style Like Me: We’ve mentioned it before, but stylist Elisa Goodkind’s awesome blog jumps into closets across the city (and its outer boroughs) in search of inspiring wardrobes. Today, ogle over Becka Diamond’s Chanel pumps and Rick Owens jacket. {StyleLikeU}
Don’t Stop Believin’: It’s the song that never dies. Apparently Kate Moss was accosted in the street by a Journey-loving thong-wearing gentleman after Simon Cowell’s 50th birthday party. And this is where our moms would tell us nothing good happens after 2 am. And we would disagree.{Page Six}

On Sunday night (a bit delayed, sorry), I headed to MILK to watch Gareth Pugh’s Ruth Hogben produced film. I’d expected a preview of the collection, but instead I watched a giant cube in the middle of MILK’s loading dock. Each side represented an element and the top of the cube, which was essentially the ceiling, represented the fifth element, the ethereal.
It was pretty to watch, but I was too tired and too sober (and maybe not cool enough) to absorb it on any sort of philosophical level, so instead Faran and Blue and I made up Hollywood names for fashion couples - not necessarily make out couples, but we-go-to-everything-together couples. Yes, we know we’re getting increasingly delirious as the week goes on:
1. Cecilia Dean & Steven Gan: STEVELIA
2. Lauren Santo Domingo & Derek Blasberg: DELAUREN
3. Becka Diamond & Byrdie Bell: BYRKA
4. Fabiola Beracasa & Tallulah Harlech: FALLULAH
5. Keegan Singh, Kate Lanphear & Mark Holgate: KEEKARK
Who’d we miss?
When everyone in fashion gathers in one place, people talk. Here’s what they said today.
1. Becka Diamond for Nylon TV? The latest New York it girl’s been sitting front row at all the best (and by best I mean most fun) shows - Wang, Altuzzara, Ronson - and now we hear she’ll start hosting segments for Nylon TV. Phillip Lim, up first.
2. The Daily’s not-so-blind items. On day one they published an entire page of awful things done by fashion people and most of them couldn’t have been less subtle.
3. White girls and skinny girls. After a summer of talking about race and weight, the girls on this season’s runways couldn’t possibly be any skinnier. And aside from a couple of Chanel Iman and Sessilee Lopez sightings, we can honestly say they’ve never looked whiter.
4. Tonight’s Gareth Pugh ‘experience’ is sensorial. Apparently, it’ll be really hot inside, but you only have to stay for five minutes.
5. Sex and the City’s filming all over West Broadway tomorrow. So if the tents aren’t packed enough for you, head below Houston for increased fashion mayhem.
These days we all know the last name Ronson draws a crowd, though sometimes an unwanted paparazzi-type one. But not today, at least for the most part. Though there was some serious seating drama for a hot second, everything got figured out and Charlotte sent her clothes down the runway to tunes compiled by her twin sister.
Brother Mark, Byrdie Bell, Becka Diamond, Russell Simmons and his nieces Angela and Vanessa, Joe Zee, Brooklyn Decker, Tinsley Mortimer (in I Heart Ronson from JCPenney), and Olivier Zahm took it all in from the front row. The consensus in our section, and from many others we overheard while squeezing ourselves out the door, was that this was by far Charlotte’s best collection.
There were “Let’s Get Physical” braided headbands, thigh-length leggings/tights with well-placed runs, tons of the shorts (in leather and jersey) that the designer herself so often wears, and an army jacket/anorak that I must have if it kills me. Plus, lots of one-shouldered action. It’s all happening on that front, people. Embrace it.

Chanel-o: If Craig McDean had shot this with Baptiste Giabiconi instead of Constance Jablonski (for Interview), Karl Lagerfeld might have exploded from excitement. That would’ve been fun. {Models}
It’s It: This went up at the start of the week, but in case you missed it & you’re still wondering just who Becka Diamond is, this guide to the It-Girls of fall 09 will prove extremely helpful. {Style}
Ca-Caw: Thank you Malvin from Project Runway for inspiring the kids at EW to edit this little piece of Arrested Development awesomeness together. We were just remarking on Lindsey and Gob’s chicken dances earlier in the week. And by remarking we mean re-enacting. Happy Friday! {PopWatch}
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy: Barneys is about half way through their warehouse sale & shoes just got knocked down 40%. Meanwhile, we saw their awkward TV commercial last night and still wonder why they don’t just use Simon Doonan. {Racked}
Sketched Up: We read about Igor & Andre yesterday morning, the blog from California- based fashion illustrator and model lover Danny Roberts, but wasted an hour of our life on it last night. His work is spectacular. {Igor&Andre}

Meet Blue Logan, if you haven’t already.
A couple of years ago a friend dragged the soft-spoken Brit to a show at London Fashion Week, Aquascutum he thinks, and he started to draw the models as they walked down the runway. Within a few shows he realized the people in the front row were just as, if not more, interesting.
Now his drawings pop up in Vogues, both UK and American, on Style.com and a bunch of other fashion-loving sites. He’s been in New York this summer preparing his sandwich shop, Cheeky’s, sketching the cool kids in the Hamptons or at the Jane and starting a project he might call, “I’m on the List” about the nature of waiting in lines in New York.
He was in Paris before this and counts India as his favorite place, but he’s in love with New York right now and we’re happy to have him. How he works, after the jump.
